The Causeway, Saturday Morning
Jul. 18th, 2020 05:33 pmTamsin had had enough.
Bo? Bo hadn't been on the island in weeks. She could only put off telling the Morrigan about that for so long anyway. And sure, being mayor had been a cush job with generous sleeping-through-the-afternoon hours, but she was bored, and anyway.
There were rats in her town hall now. Well, a rat and his dog, technically, who were flooding the place with cheerful music, and there was a butt flag above her Town Hall now, and just--
Tamsin left Town Hall with one middle finger held up. She swung her bag over her shoulders, and then raised the other one, too.
And that's how she walked down to the Causeway, and then over the Causeway, until she disappeared on the horizon: with two little birdies waving at the island.
[[ that's it for Tamsin, unless someone runs into her on the way! it's been fun! ]]
